'the one from the lab'

our labs tend to be very exhausting.. this one took almost six hours.. and then one cannot be suprised to see us like this:

that's alca & hanka, my schoolmates.. we have lots of fun together.. going for lunch is always a highlight of the day. we think that the cooks add weed to the food 'cause we always laugh so hard!

'summer memories'

well, here is another pic from my and janka's trip to san francisco, california, this october.. we enjoyed walking in san francisco streets so much! it was a nice and sunny day as well.. now, when i think of it while sitting in my school and there is freezing weather outside, it seems so unreal that we were there!

this is really gonna look like some 'ledak picture series' but whatevah.. as i was digging thru pics from the us last night i found some very interesting ones (at least for me they are) and i would like to share some..

this is a picture from reuben's and ashley's appartment in chattanooga. we were there in september and absolutely fell in love with chattanooga..

'adaptation'

to be honest, this movie didn't really make it for me. it was kinda weird. we watched it last night at our house in brno and that was fun - to spend time together with friends. but otherwise..

adaptation (2002, dir. spike jonze, screenplay - charlie kaufman, book - susan orlean) is not a good movie to watch after a long and tireing day but you might wanna try seeing it anyway..

'finally something more than a picture...?'

well, there was a time these past weeks when i was working on my seminar project from environmental analysis class but i have to say: i'm done! finally.. it is only 24 pages long but still - it took a while.. i have to turn the paper in today or tomorrow and then have a presentation..

i didn't write a 'normal' entry for a long time.. so how am i? well, it's goin'. i had to stay here in brno the last weekend because the bus to slovakia was full on friday nite.. of course, it was not the only one going but it was last one on friday and that way i missed all the friday night events that were planned with my choir.. so i decided to stay for a weekend.

i have to say that i had a good time after all. janka went to kosice to visit our friend so it was only aja, breta and me in da house.. it was fun tho. we slept a lot, ate a lot, laughed a lot... all the things we like to do and all of'em at once!

my school is fine also but i tend to be a little tired of it since i spend lots of time in here.. but it is o.k., i have nice friends here.. so.

i better go.. later.

'an old movie, a good movie..'

..i really am not a good movie review writer, because all the movies i ever watch are good in my opinion.. well, except the last one, which was good, but a little scarry..

last night we watched bridget jones's diary (2001) which was a really good comedy/chick flick kinda movie.. i saw it earlier (maybe stg like 2 years ago) and i remember i liked it then. and seing it again was just as much fun as before..

and i think that renée is a very funny and expressive actress. cannot wait to see the sequel (bridget jones - the edge of reason, 2004)..

just one thing - the language.. swearwords are not that cool after all..
